My friends would say I'm friendly and easy going, and always have a smile - seeing the glass half full whatever the situation. I'm told I look a lot younger than I am and my lifestyle perhaps reflects this too. I am active & like to get outdoors as much as I can, especially on a sunny evening or weekend. Definitely not a couch potato, though a Saturday night in with a bottle of wine, great food (I can cook!) & good company is hard to beat. I've been modernising my house & the kitchen is now finished so I'm longing to put it to proper use.

I try and make the most of any weekend - I enjoy going up to London to see what's on, visit the galleries or just wander around & explore; but I also like to travel & see new places, & when the weather's not so good a lazy weekend at home is just fine. I enjoy live music (have electric guitar, can't play it.. but there's always good music on locally). And just occasionally I do things on the spur of the moment - like a last minute dash up to Scotland on the Friday night sleeper, or over to Paris on the Eurostar..

I'd like to meet someone with whom I can share some of the sports and activities I enjoy, and also get to share they things they enjoy. I'd hope they'd enjoy travel, and be willing to try crazy new stuff, last-minute jetting off for a weekend away or head for the great outdoors, but be equally comfortablë relaxing at home. It's important though that they're honest and willing to talk openly about things, share problems and see the fun side of life..
