Hi. I am originally from Morpeth,Northumberland in the United Kingdom,which is about 10 miles(17Km) north of Newcästle upon Tyne.As a child I lived all over the UK and abroad,as my Father was in the Royal Air Force.At 16 years of age I left home and went to London to train as a chef at the Savoy Hotel.For the next 35 years I worked as a chef all over the UK and all over the world. I have worked in Spain,the South of France,the Caribbean,Australia,Singapore,Malaysia and more! During my time abroad,I worked mostly on Private Luxury Yachts. In 1991 I married my sweetheart and during my time abroad,she was fortunate enough to visit me in some exotic locations. Sadly she died in 2004 from cancer. from there my my passion for cooking deserted me and having had rheumatic problems gave up my career as a Chef. I sat around for 3 years feeling sorry for my self and wallowing in self pity. Then in May 2008,I had a word with myself and got a grip of life. I am now cooking again for a living.
