About Jeremy

I'm pretty shy at heart and take time to get to know people but like to have a laugh with people (and not against them). I love dogs - frequently dog sitting a friend's black labrador and walking him through the coun try lanes near my home on the sourthern fringes of Dartmoor. I love astronomy and science fiction and good fantasy novels such as the Hobbit or the Chronicles of Narnia. I like travelling to the continent, particularly to Germany and Austria (been to both three times each so far). One thing you need to be aware of: I'm profoundly deaf and although I have spoken English as my first language (all my colleagues at my workplaces are hearing) I rely on lipreading and I'm aware that whilst this may not be a problem for some women, it may be for others as not everyone is comfortablë with being intently lipread. As for whom I would like to meet, she needs to know I have my flaws (and may even drive her up the wall from time to time) but if she's willing to make the time and effort to get to know me and tell me what she wants (as I don't read minds and nor do I pretend to be able to) then I do have a great deal to give to the right one. Not in terms of money or property (I'm no magnate), but love, affection and hugs aplenty!
