About Pixie
I like cycling, walking in the coun tryside, especially in a deciduous forest, films, reading, science, spirituality, meditating, growing my own fruit and veg, baking, cooking, making jam and preserves.<br><br>Used to have a dream to travel the world, so I did, for the best part of 20 years by land and sea. Hey, someone has to be paid for crewing beautiful, huge sailing yachts across the oceans ;) These days I am happier with shorter trips, especially long weekends away to get some sun and culture. I aspire to make positive change in Dumfries & Galloway as it is such a beautiful part of the world, but there is far too much negativity, especially in Dumfries. I would like to help change that somehow. Any ideas? When I was younger, I was a bit of a party girl but prefer the quieter life now. Guitar and good company around the camp fire sounds bliss - as long as the midges are not invited!<br><br>Something unique about me, well me of course :) And that I also speak Spanish and some Portuguese. I say some Portuguese as it has got rusty from non use, but I am good with languages so a long weekend there would sort that out - and my long faded tan! Another unique thing about me - I used to live in a Buddhist centre and am a vegetarian so it is hoped that you are a vegetarian too and on a spiritual path. I'm caring, compassionate, faithful, peace loving and introspective. One of my goals for this coming year is to go micro lighting above DG3 whëre I live. A hot air balloon would also be great, but not many of them up this way.
